First In-Home Concert

Our good friend Patrick “Rick” Keller in Mendocino offered his house for the first of the in-home concerts. He and his wife were instrumental, helped to make this idea real! So in the middle of January, friends, neighbors and a couple from out the area come to the concert.

Sergei started the night playing three pieces by Villa-Lobos, then went on to play several Spanish composer such as Turina, Albéniz and others. Scarlatti and S. Bach were not forgotten.

Many neighbors from Mendocino, Caspar and Fort Bragg came that cold night to warm their hearts with the music of the guitar. We hope that the spell of music went with them as they drove home through the dark winter night.
